SonarQube Version 10.6.0.92116 - Support Timeline and Impact on Ongoing Tasks

We are currently using SonarQube version 10.6.0.92116 and have received the alert:
“You’re running a version of SonarQube that is no longer active. Please upgrade to an active version immediately.”

Could you please confirm how long this version will remain active and supported? Additionally, will this alert affect any ongoing tasks or data on the SonarQube dashboard?

Regarding your question, the alert means what it says: 10.6.* is no longer active and has not been for quite some time.

You should upgrade to a current version at your earliest convenience. Your upgrade path is:

10.6 → 2025.1.1-> 2025.2 (last step optional)

If I keep the current version, will it impact us?

Hi,

There is no planned obsolescence date at which 10.6 will suddenly stop working. Instead, you will just fall behind in features, bug fixes and security patches.
