would you please help me with this error, i am not able to understand what does it says and what i should do.

i forgot my admin password then i re setup sonarqube and getting this error

Welcome to the community!

I moved your posts to a new thread since they weren’t directly related to the topic you initially posted in.

I’m a bit confused about what you’re facing. The message in your screenshot is addressed in the Upgrade Guide. Losing your admin credentials would be unrelated to that message, but reinstating admin access is also addressed in the docs.

I also got the same issue suddenly. But unfortunately your reply does not make sense.
However I found out that sonarqube server was expecting a DB upgrade, hence the maintenance page.

Solution would be to:

  1. Make sure you have a DB backup available.

  2. Go to http://localhost:9000/setup (if you have hosted it specifically, then it should be {URL_of_your_sonarqube}/setup )

  3. There will be a button to upgrade DB, click on that and you should be fine.
