SonarQube Cloud migration from GitLab to GitHub

Hello,

Our company recently migrated our repositories from GitLab to GitHub. We currently use SonarCloud integrated with GitLab and want to switch the integration to GitHub while preserving the existing organization and billing history.

Right now we have:

  • One SonarCloud organization bound to GitLab (with a Team plan)

  • Another SonarCloud organization bound to GitHub (without a paid plan)

Is it possible to migrate the GitLab-bound SonarCloud organization to GitHub so we can keep the same organization and maintain the current billing setup?

Has anyone done this migration before?

Welcome to the community!

Unfortunately this is not possible. If you were going in the other direction, there would be a workaround. But not for GitLab ā†’ GitHub.
