Question; can I decide the the default panel I get for a project is the overall is “Overall code” rather then “New code”? These days I go the “Overall code” every time…
UI Idea - you might want to make a background color indication also for the “New code” and “Overall code” show whether the quality metrics are violated or not.
Thank you for your feedback and for your suggestion.

Right now, there is now way to do that. We introduced this new Dashboard with SonarQube 8.2 and we will keep improving it over time. For this reason, your feedback is important to us.
Could you tell me a little bit more about this “These days I go the “Overall code” every time…”? Can you tell more about the context? What is your goal when you reach the “Overview” and click on the “Overall Code” tab?
@Mathieuc if you have say 70 bugs in legacy code and your focus is bug-fixing, then the number of bugs in new code is … less important.
Obviously if you are feature-extending the bugs in new code is very relevant.
Thank you for your answer @peter.toft. I’ll definitely bring up to the conversation what you mentioned to the rest of the SonarQube team during the next iteration on this overview page.
