How can we change the Sonar HomePage Dashboard to show only new code status

• what are you trying to achieve

Want to have only New code related information in the sonar home page. Although currently the quality gate status is dependent on the NEW CODE PERIOD, sonar dashboard shows the metrics from the overall code and not new code.

• what have you tried so far to achieve this

Tried checking sonar settings project/admin but with no avail. No questions on this in the community so far too.

From the screenshot --> quality gate status --> takes from the NEW CODE SETTING

Overall project status --> shows the OVERALL CODE and not ONLY NEW CODE

Hi,

This is available, but it’s a choice to be made on a user-by-user basis not something you can set globally for the team.

However, once made the choice is sticky:
