SonarLint plugin causes IntelliJ to freeze when "Loading taint vulnerabilities"

Issue:
Hi, I recently installed the SonarLint IntelliJ plugin and am enjoying its features and suggestions. However, IntelliJ seems to freeze for several seconds when SonarLint is running “Load taint vulnerabilities”. This causes IntelliJ to be unusable during this time. I found a similar old thread on what sounds like the same behavior here: https://community.sonarsource.com/t/loading-taint-vulnerabilities-blocks-intellij-for-like-20-seconds (I’m posting a new thread per the FAQ).

Hi @loganwday. The thread dumps you have shared were not enough for us to identify the issue. Could you take thread dumps when the IntelliJ is frozen using jstack and share them with us?
