Hello Visual Studio community,
The SonarLint version 8.4 of Visual Studio is out! 
This version brings amazing improvement for binding projects between SonarLint and SonarQube / SonarCloud and is part of other ongoing efforts to bring this functionality on par with other IDEs.
You can access the Connected Mode settings from the Extensions menu under SonarLint > Connected Mode > Bind to SonarQube or SonarCloud … to see the new Manage Project Binding window.
You can also create a new connection with a SonarQube or a SonarCloud instance directly by clicking on Manage Connections > Create New Connection where the authentication process has been simplified.
You can then select the connection, and select the project you want to bind.
To benefit from this functionality, you need to update SonarLint to 8.4 or latest.
