Dear SonarLint users,
we just released this new version that raises the minimum required JVM runtime version from 8 to 11.
In facts, the Eclipse Project has moved to Java 11 in 2020 and we are relying on ECJ (the Eclipse compiler) for our analyzers. Staying close to the latest ECJ is important for analysis stability and for support of all the latest language features, especially since many languages increased their pace of new releases.
This release does not bring any new functionality, so stay tuned for further announcements soon
