Sonarcloud license question relate to LOC

hi Support team
I have a quick question about the SonarCloud line of code in the billing section. If a project has been scanned in the past but we want to reduce the line of code due to billing concerns, can we disable SonarCloud for those projects to decrease the line count? Is there a refresh period for the line of code, such as a 90-day billing cycle for scanned lines? or once the code is been scanned, it will always be billed. thank you

As long as the project exists, it counts towards your Lines of Code. To “clear” those lines of code, the project must be deleted.

Thank you for your prompt response. If we have a one-year SonarCloud license and the code is scanned on the first day, will that count towards my Lines of Code for the entire year? thank you

And for the year after that.

If your codebase is scanned on January 1st, you can keep scanning that codebase as many times as you want and the total license utilization will be the size of the largest branch of that project. As long as that project exists, that will be the case.
