We are currently using SonarCloud for our projects. We also wanted to analyse our partner’s open source project (which is pretty big) with SonarCloud.
I just wanted to ask
Can open source projects be analysed for free?
What the procedure and the policies are with open source projects. And how we could set it up.

Yes, open source projects can be analyzed for free, and the results will be available for everyone to see (as public as your project code 
)
The best case scenario would be that a SonarCloud organization is created that is bound to their DevOps Platform. You could analyze it manually but that’s not our first reccomendation.
