Sonarcloud fails to open Billing page in Chrome for free project

  • versions used (SonarQube, Scanner, Plugin, and any relevant extension)
    Chrome Version 67.0.3396.87 (Official Build) (64-bit)
    Mac OX High Sierra 10.13.4
    reproduced on Billing page of

  • error observed
    Can’t upgrade to paid account, because billing page fails to load in Chrome.

  • steps to reproduce

  1. Login to the “free” account (which is not upgraded yet).
  2. Open Administration > Billing page in Chrome.
  • expected result
    Billing page should be rendered.

  • actual result
    “Connecting to the payment solution” loading indicator stays infinitely on the page and content is never loaded.
    There are a lot of "Failed to load resource: the server responded with status of 403, assets.braintreegate…

  • potential workaround
    Open the page in Safari.


Could you copy the exact error message and stacktrace (if any) from the browser console please? That would help to find the problem.

unfortunately, I can’t reproduce an issue after upgrading an account. It only happens when you open a page from the free account

Unfortunately I cannot reproduce the problem as well, neither for free org, nor for upgraded one.

Without more details I’d be hard to investigate the problem. If you face it again (hopefully not :slightly_smiling_face:), feel free to open a new thread.
