Sonar scanner documentation doesn't link to most recent version

Hi,

the sonarqube documentation for sonar scanner
https://docs.sonarqube.org/latest/analysis/scan/sonarscanner/
has still the download link to version 4.0.0, whereas version 4.1.1 is already released.

Hi Gilbert,

Those docs are updated with each SonarQube release, so it’s unfortunate but expected that for now the link is outdated.

would it be possible to get a notification in the community announcement category
in such cases ?

yes, there are postings about new rules and Sonarqube itself in this category, but i’m missing
posts about scanner and Sonarlint releases.

Hi Gilbert,

You can find SonarLint announcements in the Product News. I’ll lobby internally for scanner announcements, although they happen infrequently enough that it’s difficult to build up a routine around them.
