Hi,
I am using sonar 8.9 LTS CE for scanning my code.
I noticed that sonar is reporting around 60k bugs on Monday at 12pm and then I rescanned the code again it was coming to less than 1K how is this possible?
Has anyone faced a similar issue in past or am I missing something on the ground?

It would probably be good to compare your scanner logs for both runs to see if there are any glaring differences.
Make sure you upgrade to SonarQube v9.9 LTS soon, not only to benefit from our Best LTS Ever™, but because soon we will systematically ask users to upgrade when they ask questions about earlier versions of SonarQube, which are now considered unsupported.
