We have received an email from the Sonar team that from 26th May the default play “Legacy Plan” which we were using for our organisation. I wanted to understand if this is an automatic process or we have to do it on our own by making changes to the plan as mentioned in the email from Legacy to Teams plan.
Secondly, if I change the plan today, will it charge me as per new plan prices or once this deadline is finished then it will charge as per the plan and.
Is there any downtime in our service while the migration takes place?
If you do not take a manual action to migrate your plan, your plan will be automatically migrated the week of May 26th.
If you migrate to the Team Plan manually (prior to the automatic migration), you will be charged for the Team Plan charge pro-rata from the day you make the change.
To be quite transparent, there’s a change in progress to only start the billing for the new plan at the next billing cycle, but it’s not implemented yet. I’m mentioning this in case a week or two down the line, somebody comes across this post and experiences something different!
If the migration from legacy to team plan occurs automatically (May 26), the new pricing will apply from your normal billing date.
