Scrolling in search results

  • how is SonarQube deployed: zip, Docker, Helm

  • what are you trying to achieve
    • When searching something with search bar (the one whoch can be opened from anywhere by pressing ‘s’) a list of results is shown. These results are scrollable, but they automatically scroll up or down if the mouse is at the top or bottom of the results. This is really not intuitive, for example if my result is at the bottom of the results, but as the mouse reaches the bottom of the results, they have already scrolled and I have overshot my target. What then follows is like a bad PID controller where I am too far below or above my target until i finally manage to click on it. So please stop scrolling with the mouse position and just let me use my mouse wheel fro scrolling, like everyone else does.
  • what have you tried so far to achieve this
    • Searching the forum, but didn’t find anything related.
