I am planning to build a data connector for sonarqube using Airbyte. I see that we have the web API available, but I would need to install the community edition first?
Is it possible to obtain a sandbox account for development and testing purposes.
I am aware there is a 14 day trial but not exactly sure who to contact.
You’re welcome to use SonarQube Community Edition or the free plan of SonarCloud. Neither of these require contacting anybody.
Will I be able to use the Web API in the community edition? I do not want to use SonarCloud as it’s support is already implemented.
Yes. It’s a different Web API than SonarCloud (mostly minor differences that have accumulated over the years), but the documentation is as always linked in the footer of your SQ instance.
