Questions regarding lts-community⁠ (9.9.8) to 2025.1 migration

Questions

1. https://hub.docker.com/_/sonarqube

• Is community the direct tag replacement for lts-community?

• Is there going to be a lta-community?

• or is lts-community continue to be used in the future for 2025.X?

  

2. OCD question: why not 2025.1.0-community, for consistency (instead of 25.1.0...)?

3. The “Learn More” button points to ./projects, but do nothing (white screen). Is this expected?

Hi,

With the changes in packaging, Commuity Build is a direct replacement for the old Community Edition. However, Community Build is now a separate product, with a different release cadence and different rules. Explicitly, there will no longer be an LTA version for Community Build. Additionally, the versioning schemes are different. 2025.x is the SonarQube Server versioning. 25.x is the Community Build versioning.

It’s not expected, and thanks for letting us know. But I’m not sure what, if anything, will be done about it at this point.
