Queries on SonarQube 9.2.0.0 migration to new cluster

Hi Team,

We are using Developer edition of Sonarqube 9.2.0.0 and need to migrate the same to new server. Hence, I have few questions in my mind for which If I can get the clarification then it will be easy for me to do the migration.

• What are the criteria for generating the server id from SonarQube end? Machine MAC + DB = server Id is this something like?
• If my server host name and IP get changed from A to B, then will the server Id get change and do we have to get the new license key
• If I migrate the MSSQL DB from x version to xx version, do I have to get new license?

Thank you Colin for the reference. The list of actions indicate to me that these actions are related to changing the things from DB side and not from SonarQube server host name or IP side.
