Not authorized to access this instance

Hello,

I am an administrator for our organizations Sonarqube Cloud instance. We have the Enterprise plan. I have successfully added all our projects and set up for our members to be synchronized with GitHub. When our US developers sign in with their GitHub account they can automatically gain access to our organizations projects. All is good up to this point.

We have developers in other countries (ie: Columbia) that need access. These developers have GitHub accounts with the same access as our US developers. I have asked them to sign into SonarQube Cloud using this URL: https://sonarqube.us/
When they sign in with their GitHub account they are met with the error:

Sorry, you are not authorized to access this instance. Please try logging in at SonarQube Cloud

I had them try to login using this URL: https://sonarcloud.io/ They were able to log in however that does not have our organization set up there.

I am thinking this is a regional issue with people trying to log on outside the US. Is there something that I am missing to get our developers (who are part of our GitHub Organization) to log into SonarQube to see our organizations projects?

Hey there.

Access to sonarqube.us is controlled by an e-mail domain allow list. Is it possible your developers in other countries are using a different e-mail domain?

Getting in touch with contact@sonarsource.com would be the best way to get that other domain added to the allow list.

Hi Colin, Yes, they are using a different email domain. They are contractors for our company. I will reach out to contact@sonarsource.com to have our allow list updated.
