We are rolling out a new login experience for SonarQube Cloud beginning on 22nd April 2026. If you’re in the first wave, let us know what you think.
What is changing
We recognise that for some customers, the choice of data residency is a critical factor. We now offer the choice of US data residency, building on our existing EU default. The adjustment to our login experience takes this decision into account. You can learn more about US data residency.
The new login page will allow you to select your data residency region before signing in, EU (sonarcloud.io) or US (sonarqube.us).
Important: accounts, organizations, and enterprises are tied to the region where they were created. It is not possible to move or share data between EU and US regions.
Not seeing your organizations after logging in?
If your organizations aren’t visible, you may be signed into the wrong region.
Go to My Account > Profile > Data residency and check the Region setting to make sure you’re in the correct region (EU or US).
This step does not apply to SSO users. If you are an SSO user and you see the error “Sorry, but we couldn’t verify your authorization to access this page.” when trying to log in, you may be in the wrong region. Go to the login page and try switching regions, then log in again.
