LTS 8.x tentative release?

  • which versions are you using (SonarQube, Scanner, Plugin, and any relevant extension) : We are currently on 7.9.x LTS
  • what are you trying to achieve : Would like to upgrade, but holding out for LTS 8.x
  • what have you tried so far to achieve this : Is the release date going to be a Q2 or Q3 event?

How long do we have to upgrade to the newest LTS when it becomes available before losing support for 7.9.x LTS?
I noticed in another post the EOL is 6 months after the newest release. I assume this will continue to be the same, correct? What is the support end date for SonarQube 5.1.1
