Link a Bitbucket repo to SonarCloud using an Azure Devops SonarCloud User

Hi, we have recently started using SonarCloud. We use Azure DevOps for CI/CD and Bitbucket for source control. We would like to use the Bitbucket PR feature but our SonarCloud users are set to authenticate as Azure DevOps users.

We add the SonarCloud app to Bitbucket. Go to Repository Settings > SonarCloud

We click “More Options”.

Then log in with Azure DevOps. This either gives us a temporarily blank settings page or just takes us back to the page asking us to link to the SonarCloud project.

Has anybody got this to work?.. or does it require log in using a Bitbucket user?

Hi @Richard-PG and welcome to the community !

No matter which kind of account you have, the only rule is “log in with the provider where your code is”, so in you case, login with Bitbucket should be ok. Can you give it a try and let us know ?
