Your version is waaay past EOL. You should upgrade to either the latest version or the current LTS immediately. Your upgrade path is:
6.5 → 6.7.7 → 7.9.6 → 8.9.1 LTS → 9.0 (last step optional)
Once you’ve caught up, you’ll find that your issue has been addressed.
