Introducing project binding for all DevOps platforms

Hello SonarCloud :sonarcloud: users,

After the release we did in March for GitHub, we are excited to announce that projects from the other DevOps platforms (GitLab, Azure, Bitbucket) have now the same feature as GitHub to setup project binding.
This feature will allow the binding of SonarCloud projects to their repositories in these DevOps platforms and to change this binding when needed.

Users will benefit from the advantages of bound projects (Automatic PR decoration, Automatic analysis,…) without data or history loss in SonarCloud.

More details on bound projects and their advantages can be found in this page.

Thank you for your continued support!

The SonarCloud team

I looked at the documentation but it’s not clear if only Gitlab.com is supported for organisation/project binding or if self-hosted Gitlab installations are also supported?

When I am logged in into SonarCloud via Github, then I don’t even see Gitlab option in the Organisation Binding options - so from what I guess from that behavior, is that linking to Gitlab is directly coming from the login type I used - hence, only Gitlab.com is supported.

Hi @warden,

You could use self-hosted with SonarQube Server, but not with Cloud. If you have further questions about this, please create a new thread.
