Icon change for github bot when issues exist

Let’s discuss what you have in mind!

Try to describe the problem or opportunity you are seeing and why it matters. The closer you stick to this topic template, and the more information you provide, the better chance you have to generate a real discussion.

A few questions to help you:

  • What are you trying to accomplish?
    • Catching flagged issues from the sonarcloud github bot but the UI is confusing with a green check when there ARE issues and is often overlooked
  • Why does this matter to you?
    • We use this on our team and we want this issues resolved by our devs when they exist
  • How would that look in SonarCloud? Alternatives?
    • Use a red X or some other indicator to convey that there is something wrong instead of a green check when there are issues. Keep the green check for when there are 0 issues present.
  • How would we know it works well?
    • If others agree that its better UI
  • Why should it be a priority now?

Hi @lowkeycode,
I’m not sure I understand your problem. If you want the quality gate to fail for every new anomaly, you can configure the quality gate conditions.

Just to finish this up, this is what it looks like when the condition causes a failing quality gate.
