I just upgraded successfully from SonarQube 7.9.1 LTS to 8.9.1 LTS.
However, I’m currently having issues to do a bulk change for issues in “open” state to “resolved” state.
There is no option for me to change the status. Please help…

To add on, I’m the administrator of this SonarQube but it seems that there is no way for me to change its status.

Welcome to the community!
The screenshot tells the story (thanks for including it!). Those issues are “external issues” and as such must be managed externally. I.e. those issues weren’t raised by SonarQube itself, but by PyLint & you then imported a PyLint report. Since PyLint is configured externally to SonarQube its issues have to be dealt with externally too. That’s why you don’t have a dropdown on Status.
