How to best track main KPIs on new code over time?

We are using the “Clean Code” (focus on new code) approach as good as possible (looking forward to having the SonarLint IDEA plugin issue (IntelliJ “Focus on new code” checkbox does not stay checked) fixed as soon as possible. This is nice for developers.
