How do I regain access after I change the email of my GitHub Account?

Template for a good new topic, formatted with Markdown:

  • ALM used (GitHub, Bitbucket Cloud, Azure DevOps)
  • CI system used (Bitbucket Cloud, Azure DevOps, Travis CI, Circle CI
  • Scanner command used when applicable (private details masked)
  • Languages of the repository
  • Only if the SonarCloud project is public, the URL
    • And if you need help with pull request decoration, then the URL to the PR too
  • Error observed (wrap logs/code around with triple quotes ``` for proper formatting)
  • Steps to reproduce
  • Potential workaround

Do not share screenshots of logs – share the text itself (bonus points for being well-formatted)!

I no longer have access to my previous email (xorz57@protonmail.com) as it is now deleted.
Can you help me regain access? I couldn’t find a support email anywhere so I am writing this here.

And what is the name of your organization?

I clicked on Login with GitHub and I get this message:

I don’t remember my organization name as it has been a long time.
All I can tell you is that the At the time I was using sonar cloud my github account was using the xorz57@protonmail.com email address but now it is changed to xorz57@gmail.com and I no longer have access to the old email.

Deleting that account and allowing me to make a new one using the same github account will be ok with me. You probably can see that this account has been unused for a long time

Please try to login with your GitHub account again, now you should be able to do it.
