How dedicate which permission template is used for a particular project?

which versions are you using (SonarQube, Scanner, Plugin, and any relevant extension)

  • what are you trying to achieve
    • Get information about which project uses which permission template
  • what have you tried so far to achieve this
    I tried a lot of Sonarqube API to get projects config and assumed that one of them indicates which template is used but none of them provide this information.

Your version is past EOL. You should upgrade to either the latest version or the current LTS at your earliest convenience. Your upgrade path is:

8.7 → 8.9.10 → 9.9

You may find the Upgrade Guide and the LTS-to-LTS Upgrade Notes for 7.9 to 8.9, as well as the LTS to LTS release upgrade notes for 8.9 to 9.9 helpful. If you have questions about upgrading, feel free to open a new thread for that here.

Regarding your question, there is no ongoing relationship between a template and the projects it is applied to. Think of it like a cookie cutter and the cookies you cut out with it. Changing the cutter after you’ve made the cookies doesn’t change the cookies.
