How can I add or extend rule descriptions

Hi ,
How can I add rule descriptions to SonarQube when importing an external ESLint report?

Welcome to the community!

I’m guessing this issue was raised by a 3rd-party analyzer and added to analysis via an external analyzer report. For those issues, there’s no way to add a description.

For rules provided natively or by plugins, Quality Profile admins do have the ability to extend the rule description. You’ll find that on the Rules page, I believe.
