🚀 GA SonarQube Cloud support for GitHub Enterprise Cloud with data residency (GHE.com)

Hi everyone,

We’re excited to share that SonarQube Cloud now supports GitHub Enterprise Cloud with data residency (*.GHE.com). If your organization runs GitHub on a dedicated subdomain like yourcompany.ghe.com, you can now seamlessly connect it to SonarQube Cloud and start analyzing your code, decorating pull requests, and importing repositories!

What GHE.com is, and why it matters?

GHE.com is GitHub’s cloud offering for organizations with data residency requirements, common in regulated industries such as financial services, automotive, healthcare, and defense, where data sovereignty rules rule out standard github.com. With this new release you get the SonarQube Cloud analysis capabilities, with no analysis infrastructure to run yourself, connected to your data-resident GitHub.

What you can do now?

  1. Bind your GHE.com organizations to SonarQube Cloud

  2. Run analysis on your private and internal repositories

  3. See quality and security results on your pull requests with PR decoration

  4. Import existing repositories in bulk and new repositories automatically, and enjoy automatic analysis

  5. SonarQube Cloud supported regions: EU and US (Australia and Japan are not currently supported.)

Get started with our docs now!

Note: This is GHE.com, the managed GitHub Enterprise Cloud offering with regional data residency. It is not GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES), the self-hosted on-premises product. GHES support is on our roadmap and is expected to land in H2 2026.
