Features available in Sonarcloud Vs SonarQube Enterprise

Template for a good new topic, formatted with Markdown:

  • ALM used (GitHub, Bitbucket Cloud, Azure DevOps) - GitLab
  • CI system used (Bitbucket Cloud, Azure DevOps, Travis CI, Circle CI - GitLab
  • Scanner command used when applicable (private details masked)
  • Languages of the repository - java
  • Only if the SonarCloud project is public, the URL
    • And if you need help with pull request decoration, then the URL to the PR too
  • Error observed (wrap logs/code around with triple quotes ``` for proper formatting)
  • Steps to reproduce
  • Potential workaround

My query:

Currently we are using SonarQube Enterprise Edition Version 10.3 which is getting decommissioned, and we are planning to opt for sonarcloud. Before that we would like to know the features that are available in sonarqube enterprise 10.3 is available in sonarcloud paid version as well? Based this only i can suggest this to my client.

It would be great if you could share it soon, as my client is awaiting this information.
Do not share screenshots of logs – share the text itself (bonus points for being well-formatted)!

Hey there.

We expect to bring a lot of parity to SonarQube Enterprise / SonarCloud this year, but we aren’t quite there yet. A number of features (Portfolios, Security Reports, SAML, Security Engine Custom Configuration) are not yet available in SonarCloud.

Hey @kalaivani

We recently launched SonarCloud Enterprise, which includes support for SAML, Portfolios, and Security Reports!
