Executive report not generating emails when selected daily

  • which versions are you using (SonarQube, Scanner, Plugin, and any relevant extension)
    SonarQube Version 6.7.5 (build 38563)
  • what are you trying to achieve
    Send report in an email as a pdf using the executive report option in adminsistration
  • what have you tried so far to achieve this
    Keyed in the email addresses to which the report need to be sent on daily basis once the scan is comeplete I didn’t receive any report in the email, but was able to download it as a pdf.

Yes and this happens manually when I execute the sonar-scanner command on my windows local.

Your SMTP server is configured? You receive a test email sent to yourself?

And if so, what if anything shows up in your logs?

Where can I configure the smtp server. Can you please help with it?

Look under global Administration. It’s about 1/3rd down the first page of settings.

Thanks this helped me setting up SMTP configuration and send an executive report through SonarQube EE.
