I’ve been trying to set up SSO to our Enterprise using Okta. However, despite the test connection feature showing that everything should work, when visiting https://sonarcloud.io/login/sso?enterprise_key=parloa , we only get “Sorry, but we couldn’t verify your authorization to access this page.” as soon as we click in “Log in.” When testing the connection from the wizard, it’s capable of getting the data from Okta and parameters look right.
After searching in the forum, it seems to be a common recent issue, but I haven’t found solutions for an Okta integration.
I can see from our logs that the connection is not enabled for your enterprise. When you initially configured the connection, there would be an enable connection button in the last step. If you close the window, then its difficult to re-enable the connection again.
What you can try to do is to delete and create the connection again. Now, this time make sure to complete the configuration and enable the connection after testing.
Hi Sarath, I tried again (in Okta Preview), and apparently worked!
Now, I deleted the connection, and when trying to recreate it with the production Okta, I’m getting this message “A conflict occurred while creating the connection. Please request a new ticket..”. Would you be able to help?
This might be because, you immediately tried to recreate the connection after deletion. When you delete the connection, its queued for deletion and takes few seconds to be removed. Would you mind giving it another try? If it fails again, can you also give me a timestamp of when it happened?
