Error configuring SMTP notification in sonarqube

Hey,

I’m having difficulty configuring SMTP notification on sonar, when I enter the SMTP data correctly and when I click on “Send Test email”, sonar returns the following error “Configuration invalid: please double check SMTP host, port, login and password.”

I don’t know what else to do, as no logs regarding this notification arrive.

I need to receive notifications for the following items: My new issues, Failed background tasks in my administered projects. The user I’m trying to use already has the appropriate permissions.

I do not know what else to do. =/

Hi,

Is there nothing in your server logs?

Also, is it possible there’s something “helpful” on your network blocking the communication?
