Does sonarqube v7.4 onwards support end to end encryption using 443 port ? I am not looking reverse proxy option

Hi,

Can anyone suggest whether sonarqube v7.4 onwards support end to end encryption using 443 port. I am not looking reverse proxy option.

Must-share information (formatted with Markdown):

  • which versions are you using (SonarQube, Scanner, Plugin, and any relevant extension)
    sonarqube v7.4
  • what are you trying to achieve
I want end to end encryption from ALB to server on port 443 without using reverse proxy option
  • what have you tried so far to achieve this - I followed below page but could not succeed

Hello @shivamjhalabfiles ,

We don’t support native HTTPS connectivity in SonarQube anymore (and for good reasons that you I will not elaborate on here).
You must have a reverse proxy. If you want end to end encryption that’s still possible though. You can set up a reverse proxy like Apache, Nginx or IIS diretcly on the machine where you run SonarQube. Many of our customers do that.
