Does sonarqube support scanning groovy language?

Hi, I don’t find groovy language from link:Languages overview
So I would like to make sure if sonar can scan groovy language?

And I found the below info about groovy from sonarscanner for gradle, what’s the funcion of parameter sonar.groovy.binaries:
