Sonarqube: Community edition (8.7.1)
does sonarqube officially support or can scan Groovy-based language?
don’t see it on the list of supported languages but need to confirm.
please advise.

All supported languages are listed here: Analyzing Source Code → Languages → Overview.
You may use a community plugin: sonar-groovy. Unfortunately, it is a little bit outdated.
