I am currently using a SonarQube Cloud organization connected to Bitbucket Cloud for our existing projects.
We are now starting to use GitLab for some new projects, and I would like to understand whether the same SonarQube Cloud organization can also be connected to GitLab while keeping the current Bitbucket-connected projects unchanged.
My questions are:
Can one SonarQube Cloud organization be connected to multiple DevOps platforms at the same time, such as Bitbucket Cloud and GitLab?
If yes, what is the correct way to set this up?
If not, what is the recommended approach for managing projects hosted across different platforms?
Is this possible with a Team paid plan, or does it require a specific subscription level?
I would appreciate any guidance on the best way to handle this setup.
Unfortunately it’s a 1-to-1 relationship between SonarQube Cloud organizations and devOps platform-orgs. You’ll need to create a new SQC organzition for GitLab. To bind them together, look at an Enterprise($$).
One SonarQube Cloud organization can only map to one devOps platform organization, regardless of which plan you’re on. You will always need 2 SQC orgs. And if you upgrade to Enterprise, then you get management features that make dealing with stuff across 2 organizations easier.
