Currently, our organization is bound to BitBucket. Since we’re migrating some (but not all) repositories to GitHub I would like to know whether it’s possible to connect both, BitBucket and GitHub to the SonarCloud organization?

Unfortunately, we can only link one organization in SonarCloud to one single organization in one single DevOps platform (Github, Bitbucket, …).
In your case, you would need two organizations, one for Bitbucket and one for Github.
Following your question, we will soon improve https://docs.sonarcloud.io/ to have it stated more explicitly.
