Changing severity of rules in custom profile

Is it possible to change the severity of Sonar rules in the custom profile created through inheritance or copying is the only way possible ? Inheritance seems like a better option as the updates will flow through automatically. Kindly suggest.

Hi,

If you have the permissions, you’ll see a button to ‘Change’ right there on the rule detail:
