Change to team plan, can no longer access projects

Hi All

We have recently changed to the teams plan, following the new SonarCloud changes.

What we have found and confirmed in the documentation is, the Organisation Project Administration screen is no longer accessible to the Team plan. Instead, the default project permissions are applied on project creation.

Now previously we worked on the principle that new projects where hidden until assigned, which we would do from the Organizationa level Project Administration screen. But with out this screen we can no longer work this way.

I’ve updated our default project now so that new projects will be viewable by default to Admins. However prior to this we create a project / link to Azure DevOps with out realizing we wouldn’t have anyway to access it.

How can we now access this project and assign permissions to it?

Hey there. In SonarCloud, you must be granted project-level permissions to view a project, regardless of your organization-level permissions. What you’re describing sounds like what happens when the permission template that gets applied to these new projects doesn’t grant the project creator permissions on the project, either through a group the project creator belongs to or the special Creators option in the permission template setup.
