Breaking changes or important upgrades to be aware before migration from 10.8 to 2025.2?

Greetings!!!

I want to upgrade the sonar from 10.8 developer edition to 2025.2, will there be any breaking changes or important upgrade to be aware?

I see the release notes only for migrating from 9.9 LTA to 2025.2 version, does it mean we have to migrate/ fall back to older version like from 10.8 to 9.9 and then we can upgrade?

Can you please help me with the details

This is described clearly in the Upgrade path examples

You can go from 10.8 → 2025.1 LTA → any 2025.x with one intermediate step.
IMHO the most breaking change is related to Server base URL setup now mandatory for SAML authentication - but best is to read the upgrade notes for your own.
