I have a sonarqube version 10.6 community edition.
We have the setting " Number of days before purging inactive branches and pull requests " set to 30
However, the branches and PRs on project level are never deleted
Do you have any idea why this is happening?

Hey there.
Housekeeping only kicks in when a project is analyzed – there’s no process in the background waiting for the right amount of time to pass. On new project analysis (of any branch), your old branches / PRs will be cleaned up!

Only the latest version of SonarQube Community Build is considered active, so you’ll need to upgrade and see if the situation is still replicable before we can help you.

I dont see a 25.3 version
and even when there is a new project analysis, old branches are not scanned

If you have a screenshot like before where a new analysis hasn’t triggered the cleanup, I’d love to see it! But this screenshot just shows analyses done 11 months to a year ago.
You’re looking for the SonarQube Community Build docs, which aren’t versioned.

Here is a case where the master branch is being scanned actively but still old branches (2 years old) are not being cleaned up.

After re-reading this thread, it appears you’re using a third-party plugin to enable branch analysis on Community Build. Please note that such plugins aren’t supported in this Community. If you are facing an issue with this plugin, you should report it to the maintainer.
