Bind to an Github account from Azure Devops

Hello,

I have this exact issue and setup as discussed here → SonarCloud + Azure DevOps + Github Integration = not reporting to Github PR - #7 by Marcin_Majewski

I followed the instructions thoroughly multiple times without any success, it is getting really frustrating. Currently, I am evaluating (with my personal accounts and repos) SonarCloud so we can use it for our company but I cannot get those pull request decorations to get to work. Moreover, it would be nice to have an option to create a Github organization and get the manual for Azure devops as well not only for the Github actions.

Thank you for your help.

Hey there.

Just to be clear – is analysis currently running on your Pull Requests (the analyses show up under the Pull Requests tab of your project) and the missing piece is the decoration on Azure DevOps?

Hi,

I was able to fix it. Sorry for wasting your time.

I created a new organization from my Github account thus the organization was bound to GitHub and then I have create a new AzureDevOps pipeline with the SonarCloud extension (created Service Connection and filled the values similarly as if I was bound to AzureDevops).
