Hi everyone,
we are using SonarCloud and previously had all our projects connected to Azure DevOps repositories. Due to organizational requirements, we were forced to migrate our repositories from Azure DevOps to GitHub.
I initially assumed that it would be possible to simply change the repository source in SonarCloud from Azure DevOps to GitHub, but this does not seem to be supported.
As a workaround, I signed in to SonarCloud with my GitHub account and created a new organization. However, this requires selecting a new billing plan, which would result in additional costs. This is a problem for us, as we purchased a yearly license in December, which would otherwise expire unused. That does not feel like the intended solution.
For now, I have selected the Team plan with the 14-day trial for the GitHub organization.
My question:
Is it possible to transfer the existing billing plan from the Azure DevOps–based organization to the new GitHub-based organization?
We do not necessarily need the project history and would delete the Azure DevOps organization afterward. Our main concern is avoiding double billing for the same license period.
Thanks in advance for your help!
