Already existing project showing 4.4K issues

I have a old project sonarcloud. Due to " your number of lines exceeds your organization plan " issue, i created new project in other organization. the issue is analysis of newly created project is showing 4.4K issues. where in old project we see only 27 issues.

Hi,

This is difficult to diagnose without more data.

  • Do the two versions of the project show the same number of lines of code? Perhaps more of the project was analyzed in the new org.

  • How long ago was the first version of the project last analyzed? Rules get added over time and existing rules get smarter over time.

  • Do the two organizations have the same rules enabled in their profiles?

  • What “extra” issues show up in the new version of the project? For which rules?
