Activate button not visible while trying to active certain rules

Hello!

SonarQube Version - SonarQube Data Center Edition v10.6
Deployed through Zip

I was trying to set up internal documentation on how to create, activate more rules and apply them to the projects. I was randomly activating rules and noticed that for a few rules that had a configurable parameter, there were no Activate or Cancel buttons to confirm the change.

To re-create,
I created a copy of the SonarWay Kotlin profile and tried activating the rule with ID kotlin:S1151 and this is how it looked,

Just wanted to check if this was the actual behaviour or has this already been reported.

Hi Aravind,

IIRC this has been reported internally, but I suppose not prioritized since no one “important” had noticed :sweat_smile:

What’s actually happening here is that with the parameters, the dialog is longer than the popup, so the buttons at the bottom are hidden. Clearly we should either size the popup to the content or add scroll bars. Your report is a helpful nudge, which I’ll pass along to the folks who can fix this.
