I am beginning a new origination and just signed up for the team version of Sonar Source (SonarQube in the Cloud). Between when I started the started the registration and completed the payment process the name of our company changed. The repositories all changed. It looks like our old repos were deleted and renamed according to the new company name. Now I get a 422 error. Here are my current steps which cause the issue every time:
**Request URL** https://api.sonarcloud.io/dop-translation/dop-repositories?organizationId=AZg5TjKpUxGQL3K3GuB4&pageIndex=1&pageSize=25
**Request Method** GET
**Status Code** 400 Bad Request
I cannot use SonarSource till I get past this. What do I need to do? Should we ask for a ____ and start over with my new email address from the newly branded company?
The old company name was Cortwo, and the new company name is Noetic. So the deleted repo was cortwo, and the new repo, which has all the same source code is noetic. The organization name in Sonar is csteaguecowtwo. Can we make a new organization called csteaguenoetic and delete csteaguecowtwo, and then can I use the new repo instead of the old one?
To resolve this situation, I would recommend you to uninstall the SonarQube Cloud GitHub application from your csteaguecowtwo organization.
Once you’ve done that, you can navigate to the Organization settings on SonarQube Cloud, and to go through the re-installation flow again on the noetic GitHub organization. You will probably also want to rename the csteaguecowtwo to Noetic on SonarQube Cloud.
Can I ask you if you renamed the GitHub organization, or if you just moved the repositories from the Cortwo to the Noetic GH organization. We should support the first case, but we don’t support the second case
im also getting the 422 error message when creating a new project. i just deleted the connection between github and sonarqube and recreated but still getting the 422 error. i gave sonarqube full access to my org and all repos
Failed to search repositories for searchQuery 'org:mygithubid fork:true': 422. {"message":"Validation Failed","errors":[{"message":"The listed users and repositories cannot be searched either because the resources do not exist or you do not have permission to view them.","resource":"Search","field":"q","code":"invalid"}],"documentation_url":"https://docs.github.com/v3/search/","status":"422"}
When clicking on Analyze new project, the following error occurs.
(I formatted the error message, so it’s more readable)
! Failed to search repositories for searchQuery
org:domi413 fork:true: 422.

I permitted access to the following repositories to SonarQubeCloud:
Hi there, when setting up my account a few months ago, i was able to connect to my private github repos, while I allowed the SonarQube api access to all my repos only 7 projects were created. (i have 26 repos now, some public, most private)
i created the latest repo that i wanted to scan with sonarqube cloud but was getting this error message when i attempted to create the project
Failed to search repositories for searchQuery 'org:craig-g-nz fork:true': 422. {"message":"Validation Failed","errors":[{"message":"The listed users and repositories cannot be searched either because the resources do not exist or you do not have permission to view them.","resource":"Search","field":"q","code":"invalid"}],"documentation_url":"https://docs.github.com/v3/search/","status":"422"}
I’ve tried deleting the installed github app for sonarqubecloud and readding but now i have no projects in my account all in sonarqube.
i dont get a chance to even select a repo, i get the error after selecting my github org from the drop down list. I only have the one org.
for shits and giggles ive cleared the cache, tried in private mode but nothing gets me past the 422 error above
From our investigations, it seems that this case happens when a GitHub organization has changed it’s key.
To confirm that this is the issue, could you please navigate to your organization on SonarQube Cloud > Administration > Organization Binding. If your organization has been renamed, there should be a ‘Update Path’ button.
If you click that, and then navigate to the import page again, this should resolve your issue. Please let us know if it does. @Craig-G-NZ@csteague7@domi413
My account was not deleted because the team at Sonar felt that it would be better to continue with getting this working. I do not see a way uninstall the SonarQube Cloud GitHub application from your csteaguecowtwo organization. How do I do that?
