Your SonarQube instance seems to have an invalid license

Hi, after the latest scanner update our Azure Devops builds have started failing with the aforementioned error, we’ve tried all possible combinations of tasks (4., 5., etc) with no luck.

We are currently using SonarQube Extension 5.1.1 with SonarScanner For MSBuild 5.4, and the SonarQube version is 8.9.2 (build 46101)

I’ve seen that this same issue was reported last year but it was fixed in version 4.14, in our case we were using 4.23.1 and it was working fine until the upgrade to 5.0.0

Any help or guidance will be highly appreciated.

Version 8.9.2 (build 46101).

Can you check what returns an API call to this endpoint ?

/api/editions/is_valid_license

Hi Mickael, I’m sorry for the unnecesary bother, I was just informed that the infrastructure guys installed an Enterprise Edition on a new server and migrated all projects there, I just changed the Service connection on my pipelines to this new one and it seems to be working fine, it seems they were going to decommision the Developer one and never informed the rest of the team.
